All are welcome, so bring someone with you! Guests, and those who bring them, will automatically be included in a special drawing, so invite all the ladies/young women you know - young and old!
THIS YEAR'S SPECIAL THEME!
Our theme for this year's tea is "Pouring Out Love." As part of our event, you have the opportunity to bless others in the community. Please consider participating by bringing a new, or gently-used purse you no longer need, along with a few new personal care items in a separate bag (i.e. feminine hygiene products, wipes, toothbrushes/toothpaste, deodorant, Chapstick, nail care, hair ties, brushes/combs, shampoo, etc.) Travel-sized products are ideal. These are simple items that we often take for granted, but truly make a meaningul difference to those who are experiencing financial hardship.
The purses and personal care items can be delivered to the church any time up to the day of the event. We will have a Care Packing Party at a later date, where we will sort and prepare the donated toiletries into packages for those in need. Everyone is invited to participate. We have a special purpose for the purses and we will tell you about it at the party, so dig in your closets, and let go of some of those bags you no longer carry.
